The Living Christmas Co based in southern California offers Christmas tree rentals. Potted 2-7' trees are delivered and picked up via biodiesel truck.
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey announces his new endeavor "Square." The small plastic device plus into smart phones. Buyers swipe their credit cards through the square which then passes their information along to the vendors through an application.

I saw a wonderful movie this weekend - The Fantastic Mr. Fox. The film is based on Roald Dahl's children's classic and adapted artfully by director Wes Anderson and a gaggle of pupeteers. The result is a quirky fantasy world for the hipster set. Check out the behind-the-scenes video for a bit of a preview:
